GOOOOOOODMOOOORNING VIETNAM!

I'm sorry, I'm all about Robin Williams.

My god people, I'm so sorry I haven't been posting lately! Reason? I'm ill (not sure what it is yet. I just got back from my doctor and he wants to run some tests. Great.) and incredibly tired. Oh well, shit happens.

It's not as if I'd have some interesting clothing shots though, I've been wearing the simplest clothes this week, too tired to dress (think trousers with a blazer or sweater, dull eh?) The other itty bitty problem: my camera's decided not to work and even if it did, it's too dark right now. I'll write it on my hand, maybe do it tomorrow (short day, although I do have to go to the hospital to have some crazy chick steal my blood). I'll try to remember. No, really, I will, cause I went shopping about two weeks ago, something I hardly ever do so it's pretty big. yeah.

Well, it's been a week... School's fine but busy, not like you (nor I) care, but oh well, I thought I'd mention. And.... I may be going to the new (new? two monthsish old) Primark in Rotterdam! Maybe I'm not though, cause my best friend's abroad at the moment and I'd prefer to go with her. I'll let you know (probably). More updates tomorrow! I need to get out, so I may go.

By the way: I have a little question. Nothing significant, but right now, what's your favourite perfume? Or do you prefer to go 'naked'? Mine's either nothing or Cacharel's Scarlett. Damn, that is one gooooood perfume you guys! Anyway, let me know (:

I don't like Mondays.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting too much lately. Not that you care, non-existing readers, but anyway, I'm sorry. I've been really busy with school, mostly, but I've been able to squeeze in some time to go shopping with my grandmother! I have no pictures though. Why? Because I'm so busy that by the time I get home and I've eaten something, made a cup of tea, it's dark and my room isn't that well lit, even though I have quite a bright chandelier (I'll probably post something about my room in the (near?) future) but my room stays too dark for pictures.

Anyway, I'm going to this gig next Thursday! I'll be watching the Bohemes perform. These young lads come from the Hague and I've been to a gig once before, I can't remember when, though.. Oh well, their music is pretty cool and the bass player is cute (:
Note: I didn't go see the Bohemes after all.. I was supposed to go with A. but she was ill and I didn't want to go alone. We might go 'n see them in Delft this December though (:

I'll let you know how it was & maybe I'll post some pictures tomorrow. If I have enough time, that is. I mean, believe it or not, but at this moment school is more important than Internet. O rly? Yes rly.

I like this song. Well, not the entire history, but I like the song. It's always on my mind on Mondays like these (and because it's Monday, YouTube won't let me post the video on my blog. Oh well, I never liked YouTube anyways.)

people I admire

First one is Chan Marshall (singer/songwriter, stagename Cat Power). I love her because of her music and the way it makes me feel. Honestly, I'd love to be like her. Unfortunately, I can't sing one bit. Furthermore, she's a normal girl, I think. She looks ordinary, the girl next door, and yet I think she is beautiful.

Next on my list is Holland's own Ellen ten Damme. I wouldn't mind to be like her either! She is or has been an actress, singer and amazing person. If interested, you can watch her in the BNN show Ranking the Stars. Of course, you can also visit one of her shows (I would love to!), for information visit her website (bottom of this post).
I once saw a kind of show with a college band plus another band, I can't really remember, it was a huge orchestra and she sung. In the first place I came because my cousin played in the orchestra, he plays the trombone, but when I heard her sing, I fell in love. I wished it'd taken longer, but oh well. Sorry for the lack of information, but I don't want this to be a gigantic post.

Now, I wouldn't want to be this guy but I'd love to be with him! Honestly, I am a big fan of Neil Robertson. He's an Australian snooker player and I am crazy about him! No, not obsessed, even though my best friend thinks I am, I'm not! By the way, I'm not going to write down what he's won, it's too much. (okay, maybe this year's Grand Prix. The finals (versus the Chinese Ding) weren't all that exciting but damn it, that semi-final versus John Higgins! That was a hell of a match!). Without further a do, I present to you... Neil Robertson!

Before people get all upset for not posting credits or what not; these pictures were simply taken from Google and for more information you can visit their websites, Cat Power, Ellen ten Damme and last, but not least, Neil Robertson. I'm sorry if anything posted is not correct and if so, I'd very much appreciate it if you could correct me (: thanks.

shoes&music

I went shoeshopping today. Before I continue, you people need to know I appear to have strange feet. NOTHING FITS. Honestly, I curse a lot (I'm trying to quit but I know I won't) and I don't think I've ever cursed this much in say two to three hours. I tried on six pairs and fell in love with one (they were gorgeous, red, heeled... I wanted to marry 'em) and naturally, I fit nothing. They either didn't have my size or the shoes wouldn't fit.

I think I'm going to be unhappy for the rest of my life (read: rest of the day) but tomorrow I'm going to give it another shot, I'm going to the Hague. I should go early, because I need clothes as well. Really, I can't remember the last time I went shopping. Usually I hate spending money, but now I actually have money and lack clothes, so no problem there.

No pictures today, no fur, haha.. I could take a picture of my outfit, but I look like shit today. I'll think about it, but for now, a song.. It's by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, it's called 'Woodstock' and if you're interested in buying or downloading it, it's from the album Déjà Vu.

First post!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
Haha, yes, I'm excited. Now, let's introduce myself... My name is Floor, I'm fifteen years old and I live in the Netherlands. My passions are snooker (Neil Robertson!), occasionally fashion, drawing and talking way too much. This blog will probably be about what I like or dislike, what is or isn't happening in the world and, let's face it, fashion (because these days every girl has a fashion blog, so why shouldn't I?). I truly hope people will read this blog, even though I suspect they won't.
Before animal rights activists start hating me: yes, I wear leather, I like fur and I'm a bad person when it comes to luxury products. However, all of it is vintage. I do not support new fur at all. This doesn't make it better, but I figured I should share this any way.
so this is what I wore today. for all you fur-haters: yes, it's real. I'm sorry, but it was for a photoshoot and it used to belong to my grandmother.
what I wore (and what you can't see on this picture):"
fur coat vintage
men's shirt Zeeman
black tights haven't got a clue
brown shoes Van Haren
ivory necklace vintage
